Career Highlights~

I have been drumming for over 15 years with over 500+ live shows to my music career.

Previous gigs include playing Europe's largest hells angels
festival 'The Bulldog Bash' to crowds of 20,000, supporting 1960's act 'The Foundations' ('Build me up Buttercup'),

Previous shows also include support slots to indie stars The Subways, R&B rocker Wilco Johnson.

I write, compose and produce original music with my brother Daniel in our music project 'Driving towards the dark'.  We have been writing, recording, performing and producing original music for over a decade together. We sell our songs to the industry and publishing companies. Our songwriting style is diverse, ranging from rock ballads and melancholy acoustic chill, to rock anthems.

Client Reference's

"Where to begin.....
Gareth is as good a drum and percussion tutor as you will find. His limitless enthusiasm and dedication towards teaching his students is reflected in how well they perform on stage and also gigging with others. Gareth is professional and extremely patient and has proved to be a wonderful role model for our two aspiring drummers (Alex 15, and Joseph 9)".

"The range of styles and methods that Gareth teaches seem endless and he can demonstrate a complete understanding of all drumming techniques. We have engaged with other music teachers in the past and none have even come close to matching both Gareth's teaching skills and personal manner".

A STATE OF CALM
.
The state that we get into when we drum is called the alpha brain wavestate. This state is where your brain is working at a certain amount of cycles per second. This state is associated with clear thinking, relaxation lack of stress and the ability to let go of negative emotions.
